Glyfz128

Introducing the new Glyfz128 sets. Glyfz128 are high quality 128x128 images designed to create professional quality splash screen and application icons. Until now adding high quality graphics of this size has been extremely expensive, custom splash screen even more so, Glyfz128 provides you with the means to create eye catching graphics at a fraction of the cost of commissioning custom work.

All images are saved in Adobe Photoshop PSD format, this format has the facility to store both layers and transparency, features used by the Glyfz128 images. The PSD format is widely supported, for example in Paint Shop Pro and PhotoImpact. As image elements are created in layers any customisation becomes a great deal easier, in some cases only a couple of mouse clicks are required. A simple example is Calendar, suppose you prefer not to display the date selector, one click to hide that layer and you're done, exactly the same to hide the download arrow on the Hard Drive image.

As the images have been created with a transparent background they will fit in seamlessly with any colour splash screen, and, as a version is also supplied with shadows applied and "flattened" to a single layer, if no customisation is required then adding the images is a simple case of copying and pasting.  Images can be mixed to generate a more complex scene. A free set of splash screen background is also provided with each set.

Many of the images scale well all the way down to 16x16 for icon purposes (especially if you use XP format icons), on the whole the simpler and bolder the image the better it will scale.

License Agreement

Developers Licenses

If a number of developers work on user interfaces and will therefore be using the images directly then each of those developers requires a license. If there are any developers who never work on user interfaces then they don't require a license.
